Gunela
Gunela Astbrink focuses on digital inclusion policy and research and has organised workshops and participated in national, regional, global IGFs as well as NETmundial. She is a member of the APrIGF Multistakeholder Steering Group and has been selected to the 2025 IGF Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG).

Gunela was the inaugural Australian IGF ambassador (2013) and was on the Board of the Australian ISOC Chapter for 10 years. She was the founding Chair of the Internet Society Accessibility Standing Group and is now its Training Coordinator. Gunela initiated a disability leadership training program in Internet governance and digital rights including workshops in South Asian countries and coordinating the development of an ISOC online course.

Gunela’s roles have included Vice-Chair of ICANN’s APRALO and the Cross-Community Committee on Accessibility. She has served on the At-Large Board Candidate Evaluation Committee and on the Internet Society’s NomCom.
