The concept of AI Ethics revolves around guiding the development and use of AI technologies in a way that prioritizes human rights, fairness, privacy, and security. This session will delve into ethical frameworks and governance models that can help mitigate the risks associated with AI, such as bias, discrimination, and misuse of personal data. It will explore how multistakeholder approaches, including industry self-regulation, governmental policy-making, and civil society engagement, can collaboratively shape AI in a way that aligns with universal ethical standards. Focus areas will include algorithmic transparency, data protection, and AI in public sector applications.

Mr. AlBudaiwi holds a diploma in Diplomatic Studies from Oxford University, UK.
H.E. Ms. Doreen Bogdan-Martin has held leadership positions in the field of international telecommunications policy for over two decades, with a track-record of brokering innovative partnerships to expand digital inclusion. She has also served as Executive Director of ITU-UNESCO Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development.
H.E. Amal El Fallah - Seghrouchni is Morocco's Minister of Digital Transition, driving national strategies in digital transformation and artificial intelligence. A leading AI expert and academic, she has significantly contributed to ethical AI and digital governance.
H.E. Mr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi has three decades of experience in digital transformation, driving national-level achievements. Currently, the President of the SDAIA, at the rank of minister, while also serves as chairman or member of several boards and committees.
