This session will examine the evolving landscape of digital identity systems, focusing on how enhanced verification methods can help protect users from fraud, data breaches, and identity theft. Panelists will discuss the latest advancements in digital identity technologies, including biometrics, decentralized identity frameworks, and multi-factor authentication, as well as the challenges of implementing these solutions globally. Author of "An Artificial Revolution, on Power, Politics and AI", Ivana was named as inaugural Visiting Cybersecurity & Privacy Executive Fellow at Virginia Tech - Pamplin Business School. 

Mr. Siim Sikkut

Mr. Siim Sikkut is an expert in building digital societies, advising govt.s on digital strategy, governance, and service reforms with extensive experience in leading digital transformations. He is a founder of the e-residency program in Estonia.
Mr. Sikkut holds a Master of Science in International mgmt. for China from SOAS University of London, UK.

Mr. Sangbu Kim

Mr. Sangbu Kim is an expert in developing digital economies, enhancing digital infra, and ensuring cybersecurity. He has over 27 years of experience in shaping national ICT policies in South Korea including e-govt., digital literacy, cybersecurity, etc.
Mr. Kim holds a Master of Public Admin. from Harvard Kennedy School.

Mr. Kurtis Lindqvist

Kurt Erik “Kurtis” Lindqvist is a seasoned technology executive and business leader who became President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) on 5 December 2024. With more than 30 years of experience in engineering and business development of Internet Service Providers, Internet Exchange Points, and global network carriers, Kurtis has dedicated his career to advancing the stability, security, and accessibility of the Internet. 

H.E. Ms. Emma Theofelus

H.E. Ms. Emma Theofelus is Namibia’s Minister of Information and Communication Technology and a Member of Parliament. She focuses on fostering digital literacy, expanding internet access, and preparing Namibia for the 4th Industrial Revolution. 
Ms.Theofelus holds a Diploma in Business Management from Amity University and several accolades for youth advocacy.
